| Founding | March 1987 The bells, initially three octaves, were donated by Dr. Rudolf Günzel (Herford). On three weekends, the handbell specialist Milton Rodgers teached us the technique of handbell ringing. |
| Ringers | The handbell Choir Wiedensahl has 35 ringers aged 15 - 50 years. The junior group consists of eleven young people. |
