30 years Peace Bell Choir Caputh

This coming weekend, the handbell choir from Caputh celebrates its 30th anniversary. The Peace Bell Choir Caputh was founded in 1989 in the GDR, making it the third handbell choir in the GDR. Half a year later, the turnaround made things easier, but at the time of its foundation, there was no sign of it. The handbells were a gift from the US. The origins of the Peace Bell Choir Caputh go to a visit of a handbell choir from Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA, in 1987.
